Panagia Ekatontapiliani

Located in Parikia, just a few meters from the port, Panagia Ekatontapiliani is one of the most important and world-renowned monuments of Paros and a must-visit attraction.

Known as the Church of the 100 Doors, Ekatontapiliani is a remarkable Early Christian and Byzantine complex dating back to 326 AD, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The church impresses visitors with its architectural beauty, spiritual atmosphere and historical significance.

According to tradition, the original church was founded by Saint Constantine the Great, following a vow made by his mother, Saint Helen.

As one of the best-preserved Byzantine churches in Greece, Panagia Ekatontapiliani stands as a symbol of faith and history and remains one of the top cultural attractions in Paros.
